Bilingual Technical Sales Account Manager

In addition to our manufacturing and distribution capabilities, our Burlington headquarters also has an in-house engineering department and testing facility. Last year Hamsar Diversco became a part of the Grakon company family, which has led to even more growth and new opportunities. As part of the company growth we have been hiring to fill new roles. We are now looking to bring onboard a Bilingual Technical Sales Account Manager. The primary focus of this role is to develop new accounts, but also to maintain and grow existing accounts. The base + variable pay is very competitive plus includes a full benefit package. The role involves about 30% travel. This position reports directly to the VP, Sales.
As a Bilingual Technical Sales Account Manager we would be looking for you to become an expert in the Hamsar product line. You will need to gain master knowledge of Hamsar’s existing accounts and be able to identify and develop new accounts/new revenue growth. You are proactive in your approach to sales. You would work closely with the Engineering and Product teams to keep current on new/custom products as well as share product needs and feedback you have picked up from customers. You need to be comfortable with technical product information as part of your sales presentations. You are an excellent communicator with customers and respond quickly to questions. You prepare sales quotes for customers. You accurately track your sales activities and maintain/update the CRM system. You attend tradeshows and sales meetings. Skills/Qualifications for Success in this Role:
• Post Secondary Education.
• 5 Years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
• Any technical sales or engineering experience would be a strong asset.
• Demonstrated sales presentation experience with successful results.
• Energy and enthusiasm for industrial sales markets.
• Fully bilingual (French / English).
• Proficient with CRM systems.
• Comfortable with 30% travel.
